Event Origin & Overview
The competition, launched on May 28th, is jointly organized by the Global AI Innovation Research Institute (GIAI) and the Greater Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, with Hong Kong Talent Home as a consultant. Leveraging Hong Kong's role as an international innovation hub, it aims to build a global platform for AI development and industrial transformation. The event responds to the 2025 AI education guidelines, focusing on cultivating future innovation talents with international vision.
Competition Highlights

Three-Phase Event
Phase 1: Diverse Practice & Knowledge Integration
July 15, 2025 @ Hong Kong Maritime School
A 4-day, 3-night camp featuring aviation (rocket launch, engines), maritime (smart ships, navigation), and museum visits. Key speakers included Principal Chen Daopei, GIAI Founder Ms. Fan Xing, and Mainland Expert Representative Mr. Xiao Chunlin. Principal Chen emphasized cultivating digital citizens, while Ms. Fan highlighted AI as an engine for educational equity.

Phase 2: International Exchange & Collaboration
Late July 2025
Themed 'Cross-Border Integration', this phase featured international participants from Dubai and award-winning drone pilots from Hangzhou joining Hong Kong students. GIAI Founder Gong Zhihong shared insights on North American AI development and Silicon Valley trends via video link. Director Huang Xianming emphasized building a borderless innovation ecosystem.

Phase 3: Global AI+ Innovation Competition Finals
August 11-15, 2025
The 'Connect World, Create Future' study tour. Participants from Guangdong and Jiangsu explored AI frontiers through competition and university visits.
